The Cyprus Tax Department has announced that the form of the Cyprus Tax Identification Code (TIC) has been changed for all new registrations after the 27th of March 2023 due to the transfer to the new ‘Tax for All’ platform.
The new form of the TIC will be 9 characters out of which the first 8 will be numbers and the last one will be a letter from the English Alphabet.
All new TIC will start with the number 6, i.e. 60000000Α.
The authorities would also like to note that the new TIC codes will be randomly generated.
